Hey, I’m Mari, the founder of MAAREE. Before starting this brand, I used to test the performance of sports bras under laboratory conditions for some of the world’s biggest names. However, despite my job and being a keen hockey player, I still couldn't find my perfect support.

I decided to visit a charity shop and buy a belt, of all things. I adapted it to suit the shape of my body and attached it to a existing, mediocre bra in my wardrobe and went for a run. The difference was incredible!

So, with a few design iterations and prototypes later, I launched the world's first and only sports bras with Overband® Technology; a curved panel that runs over the top of the chest, reducing upward bounce.

And that’s how MAAREE started. I was so tired of the bigger brands ignoring the problem and in the necessary sizes. Today, I'm so proud to be supporting thousands of amazing women to move in ways that feel good, strong, and completely their own. Thank you for supporting me too.
