Overband^® Technology is a curved panel built into every MAAREE sports bra. It runs across the top of the chest and stops upward bounce, the vertical movement most sports bras do not address. The result is less pain, less rub and less adjusting mid-workout.

Compression-only bras squeeze the chest against the body to limit movement, which works fine up to roughly a B cup and starts failing as cup size goes up. Above that, the chest still moves vertically, no matter how tight the compression.

Overband^® Technology addresses the vertical axis directly with a curved panel over the top of the chest, which is why MAAREE works for cups that compression-only bras do not.

A correctly fitted sports bra sits flat against your sternum, with the band staying horizontal across your back and no breast tissue spilling over the cup edges. The band should feel snug but not painful.

Roughly 80% of the support comes from the band, not the straps, so a band that rides up means the band is too loose, not the straps too long.

A sports bra rides up at the back when the band is too loose for your underbust. The band carries most of the support, so when it stretches or sits too high, the straps take up the slack and pull the back upward. The fix is almost always a smaller band size, not tighter straps.
